Purvi Kay
International Keynote Speaker | TEDx Speaker | Cyber Security Professional | Chartered Aerospace Engineer | Mentor | Advisory Board Member | Neurodiversity Advocate | Championing Women in Cyber Security

From national security to next-generation air defence, cybersecurity isn’t just my career — it’s my calling to protect, inspire, and transform. I am a Chartered Aerospace Engineer turned Cybersecurity Leader, with over a decade of navigating some of the UK’s most complex and high-stakes environments across Government, Intelligence, and Defence. Today, I lead as Head of Cyber and Information Security for Future Combat Air Systems at BAE Systems PLC, helping shape the next generation of air defence with security built in from day one.

What drives me? Turning complexity into clarity, and challenges into change. I thrive on translating technical security into boardroom strategy, balancing governance and compliance with the reality of constrained budgets and relentless threats. My passion is bringing people on that journey — because people are at the heart of security, and it’s not just about technology, it’s about culture, trust, and leadership.

Beyond the day job, I’m a TEDx speaker, keynote presenter, and Advisory Board Member for Cyber London. I’ve shared stages at Infosecurity Europe, London Tech Week, International Cyber Expo, the Global Cyber Forum in Riyadh and CERC in Kuwait.

My speaking topics include: - Security Leadership in High-stakes Environments - Diversity as a Strategic Advantage - Women in Tech: From Awareness to Action - Skills Gap Myth: Lack of People or Lack of Perspective?

✨️I’m also relentless about changing the face of Cybersecurity. Through mentoring and advocacy, I champion women, mid-career professionals, and neurodiverse talent in tech. For me, inclusion isn’t a side project — it’s the foundation of stronger teams, smarter strategies, and more resilient security.

What I Bring

✨️The ability to lead cyber strategy under pressure — regulated, high-stakes, no margin for error.

✨️A voice that inspires change, whether in the boardroom or on stage.

✨️A passion for building diverse, future-ready teams that outperform and out-innovate.

At my core, I believe Cybersecurity isn’t just about defending systems — it’s about shaping the future. And I’m here to lead that charge.
